About Us

After over 10 years in social service and youth

ministry, SO Loved 316, Inc. was established in

2008 by Tiphany Burrell.

Rooted firmly in the Word of God, SO Loved 316, Inc.

applies biblical principles to address social issues.

In a world that is full of war, poverty, and despair, as

a young person it is difficult to see love...true love...

unconditional love...love not because, but love even

though...

It has been said that "love heals all wounds" and

today's young people are living society that is more

dangerous and hurtful than any other time in history.

Just thinking about the threats that any 12-year old

girl is faced with today, makes one tremble...

domestic violence...sexual assault...substance

abuse...alcoholism...school violence...gang

"mentality"...AIDS/HIV...STDs...pregnancy....obesity...

poverty... poor education...

These threats not only endanger the lives and well-

being of millions of girls and young women, but

pose serious peril to our future as a society. They

cast shroud of darkness on a world that needs light

to survive...

SO Loved 316, Inc. was founded to nurture and grow

that light in today's girls and young women.

By understanding and accepting themselves as

people who are already loved, girls and young

women will be able to embrace and fulfill heir

purpose and their mission with competence, skill,

and fortitude. They will fully develop their abilities

and embrace their capacities so that become and

asset to our communities.

Our Founder

Tiphany Burrell has a passion

personal commitment to

rebuild our

communities, to

restore family

units, to activate

the potentiality in

every child…

even if it takes one

family at a

time.

An true believer in community

activism, Mrs. Burrell has labored

social services for over 10

years.

Her passion has taken

her from

summer camps in

Missouri to inner-

city Oklahoma

City to the streets of

Houston,

Texas's historic Fifth Ward.

Tiphany Burrell also serves as

Youth and Young Adult Minister

for

Mountain Top SE Ministries

under

the leadership of Pastors

Oliver and

Sonovia Jones. Ms.

Burrell has

been joyfully married

to her college

sweetheart,

Charles Burrell, for 12

years; and

is the proud mother of

Xavier (10)

and Jasmine (7).
